We are seeking for a high performing "Valuation & Business Modelling SeniorManager"to join our growing Corporate Finance – Valuation & Business Modelling team with the following qualifications;
 

• Strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related field
• Approximately nine – twelve years’ of related work experience in an investment bank, corporate finance house, strategic planning/business development departments of companies
• Experience of types of modelling such as economic modelling other than financial modelling would also be an advantage, but is not essential
• An MBA, CPA, CFA or other recognized professional qualification is desirable
• A good understanding of valuation methods such as DCF, comparable companies and transactions
• A sound grasp of IFRS or other relevant GAAP
• Highly numerate with a natural interest in Excel and strong experience in financial modelling; for example, in the fields of acquisitions, refinancing, project finance (including PFI/PPP) or other corporate finance transactions
• Strong quantitative skills and an analytical approach
• Independent model review and testing skills
• Ability to work with model users to identify their particular needs, to design , specifyand implement appropriate solutions to address those needs
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrable organization and self-management skills
• English language skills (excellent written and verbal communication)
• Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic

İŞ TANIMI

V&BM Senior Manager is responsible for leading valuation and business modelling assignmentsincluding the management of all financial and operational aspects of client engagements in compliance with organization’s policies and procedures and to the assignment budget and timetable. V&BM Senior Manager has an expert understanding of client expectations of business models, the complexity/risk involved and the solutions appropriate to meet their requirements, as well as the ability to advise clients on the appropriateness of Excel-based models versus alternative solutions for solving business issues.
V&BM Senior Manager role is active in specifying, designing and building intermediate/complex models by performing detailed reviews of financial models with little or no supervision and supervising the team working on the review. This role is also active in establishing, maintaining and strengthening internal and external relationships, and make sure that work delivered to the client is of high quality, anticipating and identifying risks on the assignment and dealing with them appropriately.

In addition, the main responsibilities as a V&BM Senior Manager are to drawon his/her knowledge and experience to assist in the development and marketing of new products and solutions, increasing his/her personal profile and awareness of EY offerings in the marketplace.

Working as a role model for Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM), V&BM Senior Manager makes sure that project teams understand and complies with our Q&RM guidelines. This role is also a role model to create, lead and motivate high-performing teams, help key staff to build sustainable competencies and actively promote the sharing of knowledge within the group. As a leading member of the team, V&BM Senior Manager draws building relationships with external clients and within the firm and also takes a leading role in identifying opportunities consistent with the firm’s independence policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex business valuation, intangible asset valuation and business modeling engagements
• Manage engagement economics and communicate significant issues, fees and estimates-to-complete to partners, directors and clients
• Manage risk of delivery and all financial aspects of client engagements
• Show good understanding of all solution areas in valuation and business modelling team and develop opportunities for selling wider modelling services both internally and externally
• Respond quickly to client requests for information or guidance, referring the issue to more senior staff where appropriate
• Recognize opportunities to contribute to client issues when they arise and assist in providing solutions
• Act as an ambassador for EY in the market and with clients
• Be actively involved in sales proposals to our target clients; attend and participate in sales presentations
• Assist partners and directors in generating new business opportunities and building client networks and relationships
• Understand our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to serve clients
• Build strong, long-term external client relationships, including with key client sponsors, and strong internal relationships across all service lines
• Build effective working relationships with individuals, organizations, clients and EY teams
• Apply a basic range of EY services and products in meeting clients’ needs; identify broader opportunities for EY
• Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff at all levels
• Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
• Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training V&BM professionals
• Understand, follow and communicate workplace policies and procedures to all levels of staff
• Build strong internal relationships with members of the V&BM team and other EY services
