İŞ TANIMI

General Position Definition

This role is an ideal development position for general finance staff looking to develop corporate treasury competencies, since it provides broad exposure to the different treasury aspects impacting the business.The position is part of the onshore Treasury Team; managing liquidity, banking relationship and foreign exchange for the Shell Group companies in Turkey. The team works closely together with the business sectors to determine their respective treasury needs and to coordinate the service delivery with respective stakeholders.

Position description - Purpose 

• Execute & monitor multicurrency bank transactions in compliance with local legal & fiscal regulations; with the approach to ensure that the day-to-day operations run smoothly
• Manage the daily coordination with Business Centers (AP & AR in Krakow) about the operational topics
• Support effective cash management operation
• Contribute the preparation of regular Treasury MI analysis
• Identify and deliver operational efficiencies in the execution of Treasury Operations

 Accountabilities

• Process & monitor bank transactions in GSAP
• Monitor the automated posting electronic bank statements and post the necessary allocations in GSAP.
• Act as the “back office agent” while dealing with 3rd party financial institutions.
• Prepare all kinds of instruction letters required for daily operation (e.g. loan utilization, repayments, FX purchases, BLG issuance, etc.) to be sent to banks
• Focal point to enable smooth daily treasury operation without any material error. Act as the first contact point for the AR and AP teams about treasury back office/ banking related issues
• Act as the focal point to arrange the agenda of the team meetings
• Act as a back-up for Treasury Advisor; when required
• Act as the focal point for the locally issued insurance policies to be organized and be in contact with the related stakeholders, when required
