Assistant SHE Manager

UNILEVER

• University degree (Preferable Mechanical or Environmental Engineering)
• At least 3 years experience in Safety & Environment Management Systems
• Experience of OHSAS 18001 & 14001
• Has at least C type İSG specialist certificate
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Knowhow legal process
• Preferable world class manufacturing experience

İŞ TANIMI

• Support execution and coordination SHE activities in the related factory
• Support developing a behavioral safety system in all units in the factory. Providing required support and doing regular controls
• Keep all necessary records about fire, occupational  and process safety issues and support conducting monthly safety meetings
• Following SHE budget under cognizance of SHE & Security Manager and Factory Director
• Coordination of all necessary trainings about fire, occupational & process safety and environmental issues to increase employee awareness among whole factory personel and coordinating necessary external trainings
• Determining necessary personel protective equipments for the employees, supplying these equipments and securing the usage of these equipments by the employees by giving training and doing regular controls in depots
• Following the SHE performance indicators and reporting regular monthly and quarterly internal and external reports on time
• Support the preperation of safety and environmental incident reports, conduct incident investigations and complete necessary corrective actions
• In order to increase the SHE awareness among the employees using all visual or written communication channels
• Composing visual SHE boards and keeping them up to date
• When necessary be in contact with local legal authorities (Env, Fire dept, Police, e.g.)
• Coordinating OHSAS:18001 and OHSAS:14001 system documentation and application in factory
• Support maintaining full compliance with all Unilever framework standards and Legal requirements about SHE issue
• Participating external and internal audits, coordinating necessary activities and informing relevant people in the organisation
• Applying risk assesments on factory out of office organisations and taking necessary preventive actions
