The Sales Evecutive (Travel Trade) is responsible for proactively soliciting, managing and contracting transient and group-related opportunities. He/she develops opportunities within the assigned segments, industries and territories for Crowne Plaza Istanbul Old City and exceeds personal and team related revenue and room night goals. He/she also provides a consistent professional approach to all clients through the highest standards of product and service while actively contributing to meeting and exceeding sales targets and profit margins.
 

·         Exceptional personal presentation, self confident with excellent communication, presentations and organizational skills

·         Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Opera.

·         Positive, results-oriented and proactive

·         Excellent ability to build strong and lasting relationships, interact with and influence others at all levels, within and outside of the organization



Job Description

  • ·         Interacts with clients through organized meetings, entertainments, familiarization trips, site inspections, trade shows, sales trip visits...

    ·         Manages the implementation of the hotel sales strategy to ensure all facilities and services are aligned according to budget guidelines

    ·         Ensures account development plans are in place for key markets and key accounts, and are regularly reviewed

    ·         Achieves the annually established segment revenue targets

    ·         Consistently analyzes current and potential markets / trends, and recommends necessary sales plans/actions to increase production of the segment to the Sales Manager

    ·         Understands the overall Istanbul / Turkey market as well as competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand.

    ·         Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to achieve set goals

    ·         Works collaboratively with available sales channels and RFP tools

Preferred Candidate

Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Graduate), Doctorate(Graduate)
Completed, Exempt
English(Reading : Good, Writing : Good, Speaking : Good)
