QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Minimum 5 years of Purchasing & Contracts Experience preferably in the mining sector
  • University degree preferably Engineering Degree
  • Strong Negotiation Skills,
  • Local Contracting Skills is a plus,
  • Pro Active approach,
  • Team Player and self motivated,
  • Analytical Thinking and good conceptual thinking skills
  • Good Problem Solving Skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Very good computer, windows and MS Office software skills
  • Experience on ERP systems and SAP is a plus
  • Very good command of English both written and spoken
  • Military service should be completed for male candidates
  • Quick adaptation to multicultural differances

 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Solving the discrepansies that may occur during the contract execution/preparation process
  •  Sourcing new contractors/suppliers
  •  Preparing necessary reporting required by management
  •  Documentation and archiving of contracts
  •  Proposal planning and administration of contracts
  •  Negotiation of terms and conditions
  •  Perform closing activities of contracts
  •  Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy
  • Participates in proposal preparation, review, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to ensure proper contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  • Ensure that contractor is in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations.
  • Driving Kick Off Meetings between Suppliers/Contractors and related/requester department,
  • Performance management of Suppliers/Vendors based on the defined KPI’s by Management.
  • Other related duties as assigned by Supply Chain Department Management Authority.

Preferred Candidate

More than 3 years of experience
Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Student), Master’s(Graduate), Doctorate(Student), Doctorate(Graduate)
Completed, Exempt
English(Reading : Advanced, Writing : Advanced, Speaking : Advanced)
Class B
