Regional Group Commodity Expert

• Bachelors or master degree, with a concentration in preferably engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Electric Electronic),
• Minimum 5 years of commodity/category management experience in purchasing, especially global commodity/category management or in a procurement related area especially focusing on wire harnesses and wires,
• Excellent command of English,
• Excellent leadership & communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels,
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities,
• Experience in workshop moderation/facilitation,
• Structured way of working, High self motivation, strong personal initiative and assertiveness,
• Result oriented,
• Good negotiation and contract management skills
• Experienced in working with matrix organizations and global environment,
• Experienced in functional management of teams and projects in international context
• Driving license with no restriction of high mobility.

İŞ TANIMI

• Set up and implement a global production material group sourcing strategy by implementing the defined framework and standards used for pooling in BSH. Steering bundling activities of material groups on global level and coordination of regions to create and ensure a significant competitive advantage for BSH's total cost of ownership,
• RGCM is accountable for the material group strategy of Wire Harnesses and Wires globally,
• Functional leadership of assigned  Regional Commodity Managers and Buyers/Strategic Buyers, Preparation and organization of regular Global Purchasing Meetings Coach/supervise regional coordinators for the pooling activities (including activities with mother companies)To be escalation path towards suppliers as Global Commodity Manager (GCM) for material group,
• Cooperation and close work with cross functional development, quality, logistics departments to ensure that the global strategies are aligned and implemented,
• Steering of material group and market analysis & development, alignment and implementation of regional material group and supplier strategy/portfolio (incl. strategy approval process),
• Production Material: RGCM drives material group strategy in R&D (PEP-) and PACT projects,
• Steering supplier management (e.g. ensures supplier technical capacities, evaluates risk & performance, triggers supplier development, supplier visits, triggers & supports supplier release, manages supplier base),
• Support of regional negotiation & awarding (e.g. drives Rfx, negotiation & awarding process on project, material group or supplier level,
• Production material: steering: MPC planning, ratio reporting and communication of pooling successes and ensure the correct input for the monthly savings report,
• Responsible for TCO performance of considered commodities.
