We're looking for a "Commercial Operations Manager CIS (Commonwealth Independent States) Emerging Markets" The position holder will directly report to CIS Emerging Markets Head and located in Sandoz Turkey Headquarters in Kavacık / İstanbul.
Job purpose:
To support the CIS EM Cluster and countries in leading and further developing the cluster sales and operations, focusing on following areas:
- Strategic portfolio management
- Launch management
- Marketing excellence
- Sales excellence (Sales Force Effectiveness)
- Key account and tenders management
To propose and drive analysis to develop overall qualitative and quantitative performance through the Cluster – to support countries in implementing locally marketing and sales excellence as well as developing actions and activities supporting the Sell-Out development.
The ideal candidate is required to have the following experience and skills
- Higher education
- English – upper intermediate
- Russian – working knowledge (as a strong advantage)
- Experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or sales (as a plus)
- Previous experience in BI / Sales Analysis / Finance / SFE within multinational companies preferred
- Proven track record demonstrating strong analytical skills, business acumen, communication skills and leadership / development potential. Team work and result-orientation are essential assets
- MS Office: advanced skills.

- To propose and drive analysis to develop overall qualitative and quantitative performance through the Cluster – to support countries in implementing locally marketing and sales excellence as well as developing actions and activities supporting the Sell-Out development.Major accountabilities:Strategic portfolio management- to link between Global/Regional teams and local teams to answer to company requests, to support country needs and drive portfolio development strategy
- to drive an annual cluster portfolio review and TA prioritization
- to propose and guide the overall portfolio strategy through CIS EM cluster
Launch management- to link between Global/Regional teams and local teams to answer to company requests, to support country needs and follow the launch strategy on a 3-year basis
- to follow and verify the countries readiness to launch new products
- to implement a follow-up system of country launch plans and execution control (launch performance tracking)
- to follow the 3-year results on new products and define with countries/cluster needs of strategy adaptation
Marketing excellence- to link between Global/Regional teams and local teams to answer to company requests, to support country needs and support countries in the development of local marketing excellence
- to aid and develop with the countries relevant go-to-market models and marketing strategies
- to support the cluster and countries with the effective implementation of relevant marketing plans in relation to key marketing programs critical to the succes of the priority products
- to support countries in the development of actions centered on Sell-Out increase
Sales excellence (Sales Force Effectiveness)- to link between Global/Regional teams and local teams to answer to company requests, to support country needs and foster the development of sales excellence in CIS EM
- to define and lead the development and implement sales excellence and SF excellence strategy
- to analyze complex issues and multiple data sources, and propose solutions to key business problems driving sales excellence
- to identify performance improvement opportunities and establish suitable situational and strategic SFE KPIs
Key account and tenders management- to link between Global/Regional teams and local teams to answer to company requests, to support country needs and optimize the tender management process
- to implement necessary tools and propose actions to detect and exploit country opportunities to increase Sell-In through tenders and distributor management
- to guarantee the SI/SO balance and SiT control with an effective SO follow-up.
