• To have a BS degree on Mechanical Engineering
• To have an experience on mechanical testing i.e. vibration and acoustic tests (knowledge of electrodynamic shakers and LMS software is an asset)
• To have a knowledge on accelerometers and strain gauges
• To be able to perform mechanical and structural design
• To be able to use engineering drawing tools such as Catia and Unigraphics
• To be able to prepare and execute procedures
• To have good command of written and spoken English (TOEFL 84+ ve IELTS 6,5+)
• To be a good team member with strong communication skills
• To be able to complete the multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a good quality
• To have good motivation for working at day-night test shifts
• To be eligible for travel both inside and outside of country
• To be willing to develop himself by questioning, searching and analyzing the issues from all perspectives
• Free of military service obligation for male applicants.
   

İŞ TANIMI

Mechanical Test Engineer works for Space Systems Group Directorate of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) Inc. The candidate will be responsible of all mechanical test activities performed in TAI Space Systems AIT Center as listed but not limited to below:

• To prepare setups for mechanical test activities to be performed on spaceborn and non-spaceborn systems
• To prepare and execute mechanical test procedures
• To design test fixtures, adaptors etc.
• To prepare test reports
