· Degree qualified in Engineering discipline preferably Telecommunication, Electronics, Electricity or Computer Science
· At least 2 years of experience.
· Have deep knowledge in every types of Unix-Linux technologies.
· Have deep knowledge in virtualization technologies.
· Have deep knowledge in MsSql, MySql etc database technologies.
· Have elementary knowledge in Microsoft messaging technologies.
· Strong interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
· Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
· Military service must be completed for male candidates
İŞ TANIMI
We are seeking a Messaging, Cloud & DC Serv. Operations Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting Messaging, Cloud & DC Serv.Ops. Manager of Vodafone Turkey.
The accountabilities of this role are:
· To setup, upgrade and manage VFNET customers core applications and Linux – Unix operating systems.
· To manage virtualization infrastructure within the range of agreed KPI’s.
· To manage customer MSSQL, MySql etc database services.
· To manage linux-unix based DNS and web server tools in customer platforms.
· To monitor backup statuses for all systems.
· To ensure all managed systems and services are monitored according to written policies.
· To keep up latest IT infrastructure technologies.
· To document and operate related disaster recovery and backup & recovery test processes and practices.
· To contact related parties of Vendors in order to fix problems.
· To ensure planned and unplanned outages in services does not minimize customer inconvenience.
· To contribute projects to make test & acceptance &integration &take in services of new infrastructure hardware and software.
· To maintain inventory of all managed software and hardware properly.
· To prepare monthly customer and internal services availability reports.
· To take appropriate actions against regulatory issues.
· To prepare and maintain needed operational instruction manuals.
· To prepare and maintain needed BCM manuals.
· To be prepared to execute BCM plans, recovery plans and to perform recovery practices.
