QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • A degree in any engineering or architecture discipline
  • Have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget with a focus on HSSE
  • Good knowledge of the interdisciplinary engineering fundamentals
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage and draw upon region and global experience and knowledge.
  • Professional Retail experience and a good overall understanding of the Retail business will be an advantage in any application


İŞ TANIMI

 
  • Support the Engineering Team Leaders for pro-actively driving the performance of the capex programme delivery through the Project Managements (PM) and also new innovative & NFR (Non- Fuel Retail) projects to agreed outcomes, meeting HSSE and Retail business objectives.
  • Support Engineering Manager in all specific enginering projects.
  • Implement the construction programmes and some regular Dealer Operation sites maintenances programmes in the Market
  • Report to the Engineering Manager on the continuous improvement in the construction delivery in terms of costs, quality and cycle time in alignment with the Global PMC/Shell teams.
  • Develop and manage in guidance of the Engineering Manager, the key stakeholder relationships with other Network functions, Sales & Ops, Marketing and other external third parties such as Local Companies for CO sites and pro-actively communicate with them in order to deliver the capex programmes through the PM in an integrated way.
  • Communicate with Global Team in order to align with Global Design Standard (GDS) at all local & global engineering projects
 
  • Lead and drive HSSE mindset within the Project Management (PM) organisation and through them to contractors. Ensure compliance with the Shell HSSE policies with all engineering team and conractors and through them, by contractors.
  • Prepare all relevant project execution procedures, specifications, and documentation that will be required to manage the project and report progress
  • Manage the HSSE standards at the site and ensure all the HSSE targets are delivered. Carry out frequent reviews of HSSE standards on site and continuously seek to improve the conditions.
  • Embed a strong safety culture in the project team, contractors and workers on site.
  • Prepare and implement appropriate spending procedures and frequently report the status of the spending to stakeholders, particularly actual vs. plan, commitments vs. plan, and latest estimate.
  • Prepare and implement progress reports to track the progress of the overall project against the plan.
  • Supervise the on site construction activities of the project.
  • Develop and implement a project quality and test plan to ensure the construction of the facility is done in accordance to this plan.
  • Manage all the technical clarifications raised by the contractor through the project management
  • Attend the monthly Performance Improvement meeting with PM team to review the project/programme delivery including spent, milestones and HSSE and agree action plans to improve project/programme delivery performance. Escalate unresolved and systemic issues to Shell PM Team Leaders through Engineering Manager.
  • Ensure that any alterations and improvements done by the dealers are in compliance with Shell standards
  • Evaluate the performance of project management at Company Operation site projects, identifying new opportunities of Projects.

3 - 6 years of experience
