QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
• University degree in Law
• Minimum 3-5 years of legal counseling experience in a corporation or in law firm
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Good knowledge of contracts, corporate, consumer protection, labor and advertisement law
• Preferably no military obligation for male candidates
İŞ TANIMI
• Assist the Legal Director to contribute to the establishment and implementation of Legal and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) policies and strategies
• Assist the Legal Director to give timely and satisfactory legal advice and guidance to marketing, CD, QA, HR, supply chain, regulatory and development departments
• Assist the Legal Director for the regional and global category projects
• Evaluate country projects from legal perspective (including IPR) and provide accurate and business minded legal analysis and satisfactory solutions within the scope of Unilever processes, in line with company business targets as a Legal Business Partner to HPC and FOODS Marketing teams in TURKEY and all cross category stakeholders/functions (Regulatory, R&D, CMI and related teams within UL TURKEY) on proposed concepts, product and advertisement claims
• Contribute to Local Claims Forums with Legal Director and provide accurate and business minded legal analysis and satisfactory solutions within the scope of Unilever processes, and also identify risks on proposed concepts, product and advertisement claims
• Draft all kinds of challenges filed by/against Unilever by following the Internal Unilever Challenge Procedure
• Draft and advice on implementation of marketing related contracts (i.e. market research, trademark license, media buying, advertising, public relations, e-business, sponsorship contracts, etc.)
• Participate to Legal Department activities to create legal awareness within the organization on intellectual property, consumer protection, advertising, promotion, Food and Home and Personal Care products related legislation
• Participate to Legal Department activities to defend and protect legal interests of Unilever in judicial/regulatory authorities
• Participate to Legal Department activities to implement training programs for various departments on intellectual property rights, consumer protection, competition law, advertising law and labor law.
• Update various databases on periodical bases
