EHS Specialist

• Bachelors degree or Associates degree and more than 6 years of related experience or equivalent experience and/or training
• Fluent in English
• Must have min. Class-B Safety Expert Certificate
• Must have experience in a similar industry or heavy industry
• Being an Environment Rep. is preffered
• Must possess strong organization and record keeping skills
• Must have solid understanding of safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of plant personnel
• Able to present material to groups
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health & safety regulations
• Strong knowledge of MS Office

İŞ TANIMI

• Ensure EH&S systems are implemented and maintained effectively per all applicable laws and regulations
• Facility safety oversight by managing all injuries, incidents and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure all environmental & regulatory reporting is complete, accurate and timely
• Facility hygiene and  waste management
• Cost reduction initiatives as pertaining to EH&S
• Project management
• Lead Safety committee and coordinate internal and external communications
• Fire department liaison
• Manage property and people protection initiatives
• New hire safety training and required safety training for all employees
• Manage safety recognition programs
• High level oversight for 100% safety participation by all employees
• Implement appropriate measures to minimize risk including the use of engineering controls where possible.
