QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics and Statistics in reputable universities,
• Minimum 12 years of accounting experience including at least 3 year of a managerial role,
• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager,
• Advance knowledge and experience in  IFRS and reporting standards,
• Advance command of written and spoken English,
• Strong knowledge on Turkish GAAP, tax legislation and cash flow,
• Ability to interpret TCC within the context of responsibilities,
• Advance budget, planning, consolidation and management reporting knowledge,
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports, projections, costing and strategic scenarios,
• Ability to work in project mode and to manage a project,
• Analytical thinking, proactive and willingness to take initiative,
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills,
• Advanced user of MS Office,
• No military service restriction for male candidates.


İŞ TANIMI

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks and activities,
• Supporting monthly and quarterly reporting and budgeting,
• Supervising periodic cash flow operations (AP, AR etc.),
• Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data and issues,
• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures,
• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department,
• Handling the communication with all the internal and external parties related to accounting, reporting and tax issues including the auditors.
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
•  Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
•  Maintain the financial health of the organization.
•  Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
•  Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
•  Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
•  Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
•  Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
•  Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
•  Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
•  Reparing accounts under IFRS
•  Coordinating and reporting on month end close to strict deadlines
•  Managing financial operations on a day to day basis including treasury and debtor management
•  Preparation of the Group Finance Pack [including analysis, KPIs etc.] for senior management and directors
•  Investigating and reporting on budget variances
•  Transfer pricing and intercompany pricing and treasury management
•  Responsibility for all tax compliance and administration, including corporation tax, VAT, payroll taxes and income tax
•  Experience of ERP accounting systems essential
•  Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently and take ownership of processes
•  Strong communication and organisational skills
•  Ability to work well with cross functional teams
