SENIOR PIPING ENGINEER

We are looking for Senior Piping Engineer for our İstanbul Head Office;

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,
• Minimum 4 years experience in design and engineering of piping in power plants and/or field of refineries, petrochemical plant and oil & gas sectors,
• Full conversant with relevant international code & standards such as ANSI/ASME, DIN/EN, AWWA, API standards,
• Full conversant with Pipe Stress Analysis Systems (Preferably CAESAR 2),
• Full conversant with 3D CAD SYSTEM (Preferably with Smart Plant 3D, PDMS or Aveva E3D) and 3D MODEL REVIEW SYSTEM(Preferably SP Review, AVEVA Review or Autodesk NavisWorks),
• Full conversant with 2D CAD SYSTEM (Minimum Auto CAD),
• Competent with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point),
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
• Conversant with the requirement of ISO 9001:2015,
• Full conversant with piping engineering and design practices in energy, refinery, oil & gas and/or petroleum industry(Preferred),
• Experience in preparing proposal and ITB (Preferred),
• Experience of working with a multinational workforce (Preferred).

İŞ TANIMI

• Involve in design of Project at feasibility, conceptual, detail engineering and design stages, where output comes in terms of documents and drawings,
• Study the process requirements & site conditions to design and plan the mechanical system that can support the process operations work,
• Plan and prepare layout to analyze the space requirement, road access, maintenance spaces, location of equipment, requirement of pipe rack and location of terminal points,
• Co-ordinate with electrical, mechanical, instrument and control, civil and process teams to understand the elevation and structural requirements,
• Inform civil structural team about piperacks, platforms and structural requirements,
• Prepare 2D/3D piping layouts, isometrics and perform stress analysis as required,
• Select components such as valves, fittings, insulation, painting, welding specification, testing requirements to produce an optimum design,
• Prepare datasheet for valves, special type fittings, strainers, coordinate with vendor to make sure the right product is delivered,
• Prepare specification for vendor quote, perform TBE (technical bid evaluation) at times,
• Review and ensure that the design complies with relevant international standards and codes, local codes and client technical specification,
• Prepare the material lists depicting all the materials, sizes, specification, special requirements, testing requirements to meet the design, as an input for procurement team,
• Review drawings and documents of vendor supplied equipments, valves and skids to verify piping requirements are met,
• Perform site inspections at vendor manufacturing unit to qualify a vendor to check that he can supply the bulk requirement on demand,
• Perform site visits to construction site for verification of design (when required),
• Cross verify the stress report with supports mentioned in the drawings to avoid design flaws,
• Assisting Project engineering and construction teams for last minute modification requirements and ddesign changes during construction,
• Review red-lined drawings from construction team and prepare as-built drawings after completion of construction and red lined drawings, as necessary.
