Purchasing Engineer

Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances is searching for a Purchasing Engineerto be employed in Çerkezköy plantswith the following qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar relevant areas,
• Fluent English is a must,
• Purchasing experience for production materials (3-5 years),
• Project management knowledge is an asset,
• Exhibits excellent leadership & communication skills and with the ability to work effectively at all levels,
• Strong  analytic skills, assertiveness, structured way of working, high self motivation and strong personal initiative,
• Team player  with the ability to influence cross-functional teams,
• Working experience in international company,
• SAP knowledge is an asset,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (strong skills in Microsoft Excel required).

İŞ TANIMI

The person will be responsible for;

• Regional Commodity Management (RCM) for Packaging,
• Screen and select vendors; negotiate and maintain prices longer-term agreements and contracts,
• Involve in approval process of specification change,
• Driving bundling/pooling activities achieve best possible results,
• Production material and investment price negotiation for packaging materials,
• Conclude and manage the contracts and agreements,
• Market researches for finding alternative suppliers,
• Risk Management for suppliers,
• Project Management/Purchasing with local x-functional departments, e.g. R&D, SC, QM,
• Drive and solve material shortage issue in mass production,
• Gather data and Report accurately monthly commodity coverage status in volume & price terms following agreed risk management strategies and targets.
