• Minimum 3 years work experience as a buyer - preferably in plastics industry in Turkey.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience within a purchasing department (6-10 years total experience), 
• Excellent conversation skills. Able to demonstrate success and experience about managing purchasing departments.
• Managed suppliers and large contracts.
• Strong responsibility self-motivated and can work under high pressure.
• Flexible, patient and solution-focused.
• Good MS Office skills; Experience with ERP and purchasing reporting systems
• University degree.
• Fluent in English.

İŞ TANIMI

• Manage and develop the purchasing function for the company, reports directly to the General Manager.
• Develop and update regional purchasing policy and planning.
• Align and execute strategy and activities with global Greiner Category Purchasing Organisation.
• Handle purchasing information and systems and create local purchasing action plans with the management team.
• Manage and develop the existing and potential supplier pool, evaluate them and maintain supplier database.
• Negotiate with regional and international suppliers.
• Prepare price comparisons and cost saving budgets.
• Effective & proactive liaison with other departments as necessary to forecast, plan to meet purchase deadlines and internal demands.
• Make or buy analysis and decisions in cooperation with management.
• Administration and reporting as necessary.
