What do I need to qualify for this job?
* BSc., MSc. or PhD. in computer science or a related areas
* Proven 10+ years of experience in software development
* Very good command of English (German is a plus)
* Strong analytical thinking
* Strong programming skills in Java and/or C++
* Expert - system level knowledge in Linux
* Expertise in relational databases is a strong plus
* Expertise in massive parallel processing (Hadoop, Spark) as well as ETL processes is a plus
* Experience in stream analytics (Storm, Spark Streaming) is a plus
* Experience in Agile Development is a plus
* Programming skills in Python is a plus
* Experience in machine engineering / control systems is a plus

What else do I need to know?
* Male candidates should have completed the military service requirement
* No restriction for travelling abroad

 What are my responsibilities?
* Define, drive and guide the software architecture of software applications in the industrial / manufacturing domains
* Software design and implementation of innovative applications by utilizing modern technologies in the area of Data Analytics, Big Data and Edge / Cloud Computing.
* Build the technical realization concepts including test architecture and align them with other teams.
* Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines
