• University degree from a relevant discipline, preferably from engineering 
• At least 8 years of experience in Telecommunication Industry, especially in Billing and Charging Systems 
• Significant knowledge of  GSM, CDR
• Significant knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
• Good knowledge of UNIX and shell scripting.
• Good knowledge of Oracle database administration
• Detailed knowledge of configuration management processes and tools
• Familiarity with 24X7 operations methodologies and IT management best practices (e.g. ITIL)
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, flexible in adapting to meet varied and changing project priorities
• Strong problem solving and team working skills
• Ability to analyze and manage risks
• Ability to think analytically, focus on details, analyze processes and create solutions
• Information-seeking, reasoning and reporting abilities
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills 
• Fluency in English 
• Familiar with working in an international environment
• Male candidates must have completed their military services

İŞ TANIMI

We are seeking a Billing Operation Senior Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting  Billing Manager  of  Vodafone Turkey.
                             

The accountabilities of this role are:


 

• As a service owner, to have end to end ownership of the Vodafone customer experience, the quality of service performance and the processes supporting the product/service.
• Responsible for all Level 2 operations (deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, SLA/OLA management, etc.) for Billing services
• Perform troubleshooting, incident and error handling for systems
• Correction of erroneous data by manual intervention and workarounds
• To prepare/review troubleshooting guides for frequent problems and adequate reports about performance, error-statistics, failures
• Support migration of new and changed software, elaborate and perform production checks
• Maintaining a close relationship with the respective departments (marketing, project office, infrastructure, development) to be aware of any changes to or additions to the current scope of the services
• Responsible for reporting to stakeholders on product performance and supplier/partner performance
• Planning the future capacity of hardware and software
• Quality assurance of new and existing Billing systems
• Evaluation of tools and applications to manage/monitor systems
• To ensure the service delivery is meeting the business and operational standards
• Ownership of capacity planning to secure availability and performance of the platforms and systems against forecasted growth and demand
