TEB IT PMO - IT Project Manager (**)
The recruited person will be staffed by TEB IT Project Management Office (PMO) mainly responsible for IT Demand and Portfolio Management domains as well as managing projects.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
o Graduated from a reputable university, (Preferably; Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or other engineering degrees ) (Masters degrees will be appreciated)
o Must be able to demonstrate a strong project management (4+ years) experience ideally in Financial Services with projects of different size, complexity and contractual types,
o Experience of managing highly complex IT projects or multiple simultaneous small projects,
o Experience of methodologies such as PMI (or equivalent),
o Excellent business skills such as report writing for senior management and presentations to senior management,
o Detailed understanding of the full SDLC,
o A passion for quality and continuous improvement of processes,
o Strong People Management skills, ability to interact with any level within an organization,
o Ability to perform multi-tasking, prioritize and meet deadlines,
o Result oriented, proactive, dynamic, careful in details, showing sense of urgency and against excuses,
o To demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and motivate / lead the team when necessary,
o To demonstrate a positive attitude towards change and embrace “Can do” attitude,
o Excellent command of English both written and spoken,
o Advanced MS office tools knowledge including MS Project,
o PMP Certificate is a plus,
o Relevant PMO Experience is a plus,
o No military obligation for male candidates,
o Having no restriction for travel
(*) Interest and willingness to invest in project management discipline and relevant experience will be mainly assessed.
(**) Desired progressive professional experience is up to 8 years.
Essential Responsibilities:
The recruited person will be asked to perform all project management activities from initiation till the closure including scope/resource/schedule/budget/risk/communication/quality management. Beside other PMO Assignments, the recruited person will be mainly accountable for the below activities in the management of his/her projects:
o Management of multiple projects concurrently.
o Management of projects with third-party vendors / relationship management.
o Having accountability for the project including budget control, accurate and timely weekly status reporting, change control, management of risks and issues and attending any project meetings.
o Effective communication around projects and proactive stakeholder management in order to build good long term working relationships.
o Adhesion to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
o Interfacing effectively with cross-functional team members providing timely and accurate information.
