We are looking for a “Lawyer” for Yıldırım Holding’s one of the main subsidiaries Yılmar Lojistik Gemi Acenteliği Denizcilik ve Ticaret AŞ which will be located in İstanbul – Maslak.

The ideal candidate should have;

• LL.B degree from a Reputable Law Faculty in Turkey,

• LL.M degree from a Reputable UK or US Law School is an asset,

• Minimum 2 years of previous legal practice experience at an internationally working law firm,

• Strong proficiency in spoken and written Turkish and English Good knowledge of Shipping Law,

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications,

• Strong ability to research, attention to detail, analysis and reporting skills,

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills,

• The ability to work independently while performing as a team player,

• High organizational, follow-up and time-management skills,

• Analytical mind with an ability to pro-actively resolve problems,

• No military obligation for male candidates.

İŞ TANIMI

• Legal consultancy for the shipping and international trade companies,

• Preparation and review of Turkish and English contracts; drafting all legal documents,

• Handling all legal claims for both dry cargo vessels, tankers and ports,

• Dealing with marine insurance and other insurance requirements for the company,

• Coordination of litigation files with the external lawyers and reporting the same to the company,

• Documenting and keeping all the legal documents securely,

• Conducting necessary legal correspondence with foreign partners and/or advisors.
