• Possesses a broad knowledge of methods in package design, testing, and packaging materials.
• Technical experience in rigid plastics, flexible packaging, and corrugated is necessary. 
• Exhibits strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and team membership skills.
• Has a bachelor’s degree in packaging & printing, engineering or an equivalent field of study. 
• Experience in packaging design, development, and evaluation in a consumer products environment is preferred. 
• Has a background in specifications (concept development through commercialization), as well as experience working with operations, sales & marketing personnel. 
• Being familiar with Design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• High proficiency level in MS Office Applications (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Military service completion obligation for male candidates
• Good command of English is must (any other is an asset (Arabic, German))
 

İŞ TANIMI

Yıldız Holding, one of the largest and fast growing groups of Türkiye, is looking for a Packaging Specialist who will work for Eksper Foreign Trade. A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below.

1. Development and Commercialization of new and/or improved Packages
• Develops new packs and optimizes the existing packaging designs, labeling and materials through coordinating;
- internal cross functional teams - marketing, sales, purchasing, logistics, production engineers, R&D
- agencies
- printing houses
- distributors
• Leads Color Management Process i.e.: color separation and chromoline approval
• Participates to printing sessions and develops/approves the witness sample.
• Ensures that changes requested are consistent for all various users of the brand (ensures that packaging options are homogeneous among countries using the product)

• Ensures the Labeling Compliance with Regulations & Policies
• Ensure label of packaging with company policies and national/international regulations
• Manages the translation of labeling to 55 different languages

3. Acts as one of the Key Drivers of Brand Launches
Plans out packaging development &printing project needs in terms of assumptions, timelines, milestones, hurdles and contingencies and manage the project steps accordingly. 
 
4. Support Business Effectiveness Improvement Projects
