QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
YILPORT Holding is a privately held, wholly owned subsidiary of YILDIRIM Group, one of the fastest growing and most developed Turkish industrial groups with its container terminals in Turkey, Malta, Sweden and Norway including new developments underway such as Spain, Portugal and Peru through multiple continents.
As being the first Turkish global port operator, we provide total supply chain solutions to our customers with state-of-the art technologies and with the best talents across all operations. With a massive pipeline of new investments, our ambition is to become one of the top 10 container terminal operators over the next 10 years.
Gemport, one of the pioneering terminals of YILPORT Holding, is a multipurpose terminal operator leader in containers and brand new car handling operations. Terminal is located in the South of Marmara Sea and part of an expansion project which will lead to a capacity over 1,2 million TEUs, 650,000 CEUs, 5,5 million tons of general cargo and liquid cargo. Port facility provides a unique mix of warehouses, storage and CFS facilities to support customers’ needs in a great deal.
We are looking for a Security Executive to be based in Gemlik, Bursa.
· University degree from a reputable university,
· +7 years of relevant experience in security services; minimum 3 years of team management experience is a must,
· Experienced in managing relationships with third parties for security services,
· Preferably worked in a reasonably large multipurpose terminal,
· Have an ISPS and Security (Armed) certificate is a must,
· Excellent communication skills in Turkish and English, able to manage effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment,
· ‘Can Do’ attitude with carrying excellent organizational and planning skills,
· Embrace a proactive approach and able to drive results within a deadline oriented workplace,
· Completed military service requirement (for male candidates only).
· Maintain a safe and secure environment for all people in the Terminal by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures including emergency management and contingency planning as well as supervising the security guard force.
· Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal and international security policies (such as ISPS), licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.
· Train subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures.
· Develop creative management style and improve administrative flows, timing and processes accordingly
· Set the required KPIs to monitor Security Services in terms of Efficiency and Cost Control to increase the performance
· Ensure compliance with all IMO, regulatory and best practices requirements
· Liaise with local Custom, Port and Local Authorities for any matter related to own duties
· Responsible for achieving Company goals, budget requirements and recommending investments

İŞ TANIMI
