The Application Engineer is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. Follows an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives. Has the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Desired
- Basic knowledge of markets such as: price trends (electricity and major fuels); associated ancillary services market rules and practices; Current U.S. regulations; transmission system limitations and operating practices
- Knowledge of product system analysis, design and operation, or planning / pricing
- Knowledge of system analysis tools
- MSEE with Power or Computer Science concentration
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified is preferred (GE employees only)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills
İŞ TANIMI
Essential Responsibilities- Contribute to project teams to perform technical systems analysis of product
- Contribute to proposals based on expressed customer needs
- Compile results of technical analysis to produce detailed, concise, analytical reports
- Document and present project findings and deliverables
- Actively participate in a working environment where teamwork, quality, customer service and innovation are prized
- Gather information concerning the capabilities of company products
- Investigate the technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment
- Stay abreast of developments in hardware and software
- Analyze customer problems and assist in designing systems to satisfy customer needs
- Prepare equipment analysis to instruct sales force and customers in equipment capabilities
- Prepare and present sales proposals as needed
