Senior Back-End Software Development Engineer

• Know-how on Java8, Spring Framework and Microservices Architecture (i.e. Netflix OSS).
• Familiar with the best-practices for object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with one or more message brokers (i.e. RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.) and with one or more NoSQL databases (i.e. Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with API standards/paradigms such as REST and WebSocket.
• General good programming practices (Jira, Confluence, Git, Stash, Continuous Integration, etc.).
• Thirst for learning new technologies and design patterns. Motivation to solve tough problems.
 
The following are plus:
• Knowledge in massive parallel processing (i.e. Spark, Hadoop), in stream analytics (i.e. Spark Streaming) and in machine learning algorithms (i.e.
Spark MLlib) is a strong plus.
• Deployment knowledge is a plus (cloud based architectures, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), cloudification (e.g. Azure/AWS))
• Knowledge on IoT strategies, standards, protocols is a plus.

We are looking for a Back-End Developer who will be working with us on implementing the back end framework for our brand new micro-services based IoT Platform application.
