• BS / MS University degree in Computer, Electronics or similar engineering disciplines,
• Experience with IT Security Operations,
• Experience with incident response and performing computer forensic services,
• Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment within which telecom organizations operate,
• Understanding TCP/IP communications & knowledge of how common protocols and applications work at the network level,
• Knowledge of network monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and configuration control technologies,
• Experience using SIEM and DLP systems,
• Proven problem solving and decision making skills,
• Fluent in English,
• Military service must be completed for male candidates.
 

İŞ TANIMI

The Security Incident Response Forensic Specialist will provide expert advisory and consultancy services in order to improve the security control environment and minimize the risk and impact of security threats and vulnerabilities. Position support higher-level cyber security operations by responding to security incidents according to established policies and best practices. Incident handlers provide guidance to tier one and other first responders for the proper handling of security incidents, coordinate efforts of and provide timely updates to multiple business units during response as well as provide recommendations to the units as required.
 
Key Role Deliverables;

• Performing risk assessments of internal and external security threat environments, including applications and business,
• Providing security incident response support, 
• Work closely with related parties to provide specialist input into investigations of fraud cases, staff misuse, data leakage & other breaches,
• Work alongside the security team to capture forensic evidence and manage investigations relating to incidents, meeting all legal/regulatory requirements facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services,
• Participate as a key member of the security team and be involved in threat management groups and security incidents relevant to their respective divisions,
• Perform intrusion scope and root cause analyses,
• Assist intrusion remediation and strategy development and implementation,
• Recommend effective process changes to enhance defense and response procedures,
• Handle high and critical severity incidents as described in the operations process,
• Tracking and responding to computer security incidents for an enterprise network,
• Providing network protocol analysis, host forensics, network forensics,
• Reading and understanding network packet capture files,
• Log collection, analysis, correlation, and alerting,
• Identification of suspicious/malicious activities,
• Identification and tracking of malicious code,
• Reporting malicious activity with recommendations for remediation.
