QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Test Engineer shall have the following requirements as minimum:
- To have BS degree from Mechanical Engineering
- To have a minimum 2 years of experience on thermal sciences (design, analysis and testing)
- To have good command of written and spoken English (TOEFL 84+ ve IELTS 6,5+)
- To be a good team member with strong communication skills
- To be able to complete the multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a good quality
- To have good motivation for working at day-night test shifts
- To be eligible for travel both inside and outside of country
- Willing to develop himself by questioning, searching and analyzing the issues from all perspectives
- Free of military service obligation for male applicants
Preferred Additional Skills
- To have MS/PhD degree from Mechanical Engineering
- To have knowledge and experience on test instrumentation and sensors (thermocouple, pressure gauge etc.)
- To have knowledge on data acquisition systems
- To have knowledge on thermal analysis
- To have a good knowledge on radiative and conductive heat transfer
- To have a good knowledge and experience on vacuum and cryogenic technologies
İŞ TANIMI
Thermal Test Engineer works for the Space Systems Group Directorate of Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI). The responsibilities of the test engineer include all the test activities necessary for the thermal vacuum testing at satellite or equipment level. Main tasks expected from test engineer are given below:
- To design the test set-ups and perform thermal analysis of the set-ups according to different types of test needs and methods
- Preparation and establishment of the test setups
- Planning test activities
- Preparation of test documents such as test plans, procedures, control lists, reports etc.
- To perform test activities in terms of instrumentation, control, testing and de-instrumentation
- Provide technical support in procurement and subcontract activities necessary for test activities
- To present test activities in customer meetings by presentation and documentation
