Development Engineer - CFD Simulation

• University degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering  or other related disciplines
• Good knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and/or combustion chemistry
• Basic experience on CFD-software as e.g. CFX, Fluent, AVL Fire, OpenFOAM
• If possible >2 years of working experience
• MSc degree in relevant areas is an asset
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and/or German
• Able to work in a multinational environment with employees from different cultures
• Team work, flexibility and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and to initiate optimization / innovation projects
• Good communication skills, methodic working and cooperative team work

• CFD-Analysis of complex fluid flow problems to support the design of high pressure gasoline direct injection valves
• Preparing spray designs and simulation of combustion processes inside the cylinder
• Close interaction with experimentalists to benchmark your simulation results
• Presenting and discussing your simulation results with internal and external customers
