QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We´re in search of a Territory Manager within the Graduate Programme in our local Retail Sales & Operations organization. Shell is not just about petrol or oil and gas. We sell other products to customers like aviation fuels and lubricants. We sell our products to other businesses, from the bitumen that tars our roads, to the skin products you use on your face, to the carbonate in fizzy drinks. They all come from our product. The Shell graduate programme for commercial disciplines places you at the heart of Shell’s refining and marketing activities for a variety of petrochemical products. Roles in this division include the current opportunity as Territory Manager, available in the downstream commercial area. With a university degree in engineering, economics, management or a similar degree, you will ideally already have gained experience in retail/ sales. You have a valid driver license and are willing to build a long term career in sales. We expect excellent relationship building and communication skills, as well as advanced computer literacy, coming along with knowledge level of financial table analysis (Profit & Loss, profitability analysis).
 
Based in your work location in Istanbul you maximize profitability balanced with maintaining growth and meet business and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) targets. Amongst others, but not limited to, the responsibilities are:
 
- Implementation of sales policies, delivery of operational KPI
- Implementation of key business activities
- Minimize overdue and bad debt levels (including LPG and lubes)
- Effective management of dealer relationships
- Ensure site operational excellence and service quality are maximized
- Ensure all retail activities in territory are customer focused
- Takes personal accountability to ensure timely delivery of commitments
- To learn the dynamics of RBA platform to implement changes in the Territory.
- To control company owned sites to work in accordance to work with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) rules, and take the necessary actions to complete the deficiencies.
- Implementation of Convenience Retail (CR) strategy to maximize CR Income
