QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Minimum 7 years related work experience
- Bachelor's degree in any IT / ICT related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking complex ICT projects and providing ICT solution design services
- Consultant/Pre-sales Engineer/Solution Architect background or similar work experience working for an international integrator would be extremely beneficial
- Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping, and business process redesigning
- Proven ability to provide technical advice on ICT infrastructural design, and technical design of complex and large-scale ICT initiatives
- Experience and familiarity with a broad spectrum of ICT products and ICT Services available in the market
- Ability and eagerness to learn and master new technologies
- Significant knowledge of ICT-related government legislation, policies, procedures and systems
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize workloads
- Strong interpersonal skills with superior written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to build effective customer relationships
- Extremely detail oriented and customer focused
- Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business and technical issues
- Excellent business process and best practices experience or aptitude
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
- Must be able to travel nationally and internationally
- Excellent MS Office knowledge

İŞ TANIMI
The ICT Solution Architect’s key role is to provide technical guidance/leadership in domestic and international projects as well as pre-sales activities. This position reports directly to the Deputy General Manager.This is a partially customer-facing role performing consultation and requirements gathering, solution design and implementation of ICT solutions and services for our internal as well as external clients in tenders and projects, and is the prime technical contact for the customer during tender processes.
The ideal candidate will come from a mixed technical background across a wide range of network and systems technologies (including but not limited to various LAN, Security Systems, Server and SAN, Virtualization Solutions such as Hyper-V or VMware), have strong commercial exposure to medium to large enterprise environments and will have confident client-facing communications skills. Exposure to project management, software development and service management would be extremely beneficial.
The successful candidate likes to build strong stakeholder relationships, can both talk business and architect IT solutions.
Her/his responsibilities include:
- Initial solutions design during pre-sales activities and support project team during the high-level and low-level design phases of ICT projects
- Producing and/or coordinating all related documentation including framework, methodology, process, diagrams, templates, workshops
- Technical pre-sales activities including RFI/RFP analysis, RFQ responses, sales calls
- Collaborating with other internal stakeholders (such as ICT Department, Vendor Management, PMO, Product Development, Business Development, Operations, Finance, Contracts Management) in order to deliver the most optimal technical solution in a timely manner
- Review of technical designs and BoQs that are delivered by other teams and/or vendors
- Providing input in the selection of products and recommendation on how to improve services
- Providing feedback on potential design improvements
- Monitor technical solutions proposed through the sales process and manage/flag any potential risks of non-closure
- Proactive assessment of technical solutions as per customer's requirement
- Developing and delivering product/solution presentations and demonstrations
- Keeping current on new technologies
