QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • 5+  years’ experience  within the telecommunications industry
  • Preferably Masters in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Good understanding of end to end network topology and services.
  • Technical Knowledge of 3GPP, LTE, IETF and GSM standards
  • Working experience of performance and testing in telecommunication industry with ability to use testing and troubleshooting tools.
  • Fluent in English


İŞ TANIMI

We are seeking a Terminal Quality Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to Cent.NW Quality&Terminal-SIM Tech.Mng of  Vodafone Turkey.
  • Responsible for  Type Acceptance for Vodafone/ Non-Vodafone Flagship Terminals & SIM Products
  • Establish and manage Product Validation End-to-End process and acceptance, which includes management of terminal vendors (e.g. Apple, Samsung, Nokia, HTC,
  • Blackberry, LG, Sony, Acer, Huawei, Quanta, and ZTE), and planning the terminal
  • testing projects according to timelines and priorities.
  • Analyze terminal statistics and M2M data, and prepare reports with
  • recommendations to managements and stakeholders from technology and commercial departments.
  • Organize roadmap and technology meetings with terminal vendors to align that
  • with our network roadmap.
  • Coordinate with commercial to define company’s terminal strategy by providing our technical feedback and testing results.
  • Strong experience of prototype handsets/terminals with VF services prior launch including Reporting of bugs to terminal vendors (if terminal issue) or service owners (if network issue) and follow up till fixed. That includes taking logs or support in taking network traces.
  • Provide support for customer care, marketing, technology units for any inquiries related to terminals or Operating Systems.
  • Develop detailed technical guidelines, specifications and procedures for
  • handsets/terminals as a compliant product with VF services
