GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

Vodafone is strongly committed to lead the digital transformation in the Turkish Market, where the company has been operating and investing heavily since 2006.
- University degree from a relevant discipline, preferably from engineering
- 8+ years experience working with enterprise Backup systems
- Experience working in a large, enterprise environment
- In depth knowledge on Backup concepts, technology and applications
- High experience in EMC Networker, EMC Datadomain, EMC Avamar backup systems
- High experience in Tape Library technologies.
- High experience in Business Continuity and Virtualization concepts
- Experience with compliance standards such as Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO 27001, PCI
- Experience in Unix systems, file system structure and shell scripting
- EMC certification is preferred
- Familiarity with 24X7 operations methodologies and IT management best practices (e.g ITIL)
- Fluency in English
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Good communication, documentation and reporting skills
- Should be a good team player and should be able perform well under stress
- Male candidates must have completed their military services
İŞ TANIMI
We are seeking a Backup Services Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to
Storage & Backup Manager of Vodafone Turkey.

- Responsible for installing, configuring, implementing and troubleshooting any issues for the Backup infrastructure
- Design, manage and support a mixed environment of Backup systems(EMC Networker, Netbackup, EMC Avamar, EMC Datadomain , IBM Tape Library, Acronis)
- Perform troubleshooting, incident and error handling for systems
- Analyse new/upcoming technologies and to evaluate their impacts on current systems/environment
- Assist in the identification, development and maintenance of policies and procedures that are relevant to the proper operational functions of the Backup infrastructure
- Planning and implementation of new Backup platforms to provide “best fit environments” for applications.
- Provide assistance in new projects during all stages : assessment, planning, designing, initiation, implementation of the Backup infrastructure
- Configuration and capacity management of Backup infrastructure
- Quality assurance of new and existing Backup systems
- Lifecycle management of all Backup infrastructure
- Evaluation of tools and applications to manage/monitor Backup infrastructure
- Running analytical troubleshooting techniques on the systems/modules that malfunctioned
- Being a “technical consultant” for junior and new beginner Backup Admins as well as the others in the group.
- Relationship building with the business through consultancy
- Defining and implementing continuity solutions for each platform (e.g. Backup based availability and disaster recovery solutions )
- Maintain operational readiness ensuring complete recovery in the event of a disaster. Attend DR tests regularly, as outlined in the company policies and procedures to ensure DR functionality. Update the policies and procedures as required.
- Operational support of all IT Backup infrastructure on 7*24 basis to provide continuous IT services availability and issue resolution.
- Periodic monitoring and performance tuning of the systems
