İŞ TANIMI

Overall Purpose:

Logistics is embedded into Turkey organization and create efficient and a world-class logistic activities across the country by ensuring operational safety, legaly and integrity at scale through consistent and standardised processes. Logistics also  ensure that logistics processes are strategically and commercially aligned within the business. 
The primary objective of Road Transport Department under logistics is to manage the activities of both primary and secondary transportation covering ground fuels and LPG, to ensure cost effective, efficient, competitive and customer responsive service to business partners in line with HSSE procedures 
This is a broad vehicle engineering role for a highly capable candidate with good technical knowledge, analytical and  relationship skills seeking an opportunity to gain significant, ground fuels / LPG technical plant knowledge, people/project management, good financial planning experience in a fast paced operational environment.
The role is in line with OMS framework, Plant (element 5 assets, element 6 optimization).
The role will provide and assure that all vehicles working in BP operations are in line with BP requirements and local regulatory requirements.
Lead all Road Transport assets related integrity and investment projects and implementation.
SPA for asset related capex/revex spent and forecasts.
SPA for follow up and reporting of site related defects and coordination with related parties.
These include the development / implementation of repair and maintenance procedure for ground fuel and LPG fleet, inspection of all trucks (personally and/or through contractors) at the field for both fleets, communication with Engineering Authority, Inspection Authority, hauliers and regulatory bodies to manage asset related capex and revex spent and plans, representing Road Transport for local regulatory standards updates and audits, 7/24 on call communication with related parties about site defects.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

•For both ground fuels and LPG fleets to assure that they are compliant with:
**BP :
*STP 32-30 
*RMP 3.7-0002 technical part 
*RM – GP 38-0001 fleet related parts for LPG fleet
*GP-4805110/20/30
*GP – 4801510
*And future BP new technical requirements releases

**Turkish Legislation:
*Karayolları Tehlikeli Maddeler Kombine Taşımacılık Yönetmeliği(ADR)
*And future new Turkey’s regulatory, technical requirements
•To plan / follow up / forecast capex for both fleets
•To plan/ follow up/ revex for both fleets R&M activities
•To prepare and implement preventative and periodic R&M procedure for LPG&MF fleet
•Ensure that tank and trailer R&M program is implemented appropriately
•To work closely with Inspection , Engineering Authorities and seek advice whenever needed
•To optimize R&M revex expenditure 
•To coordinate on time and effectively with haulier and maintenance supplier for minimum disruption of operations.
•Integrity and investment programs in close coordination with MF/LPG EA, 
•Works closely with Technical Authority and Inspection Authority.
•Ensure meters are working and recorded as per turkish legislation.
•Ensures seals on meters are traceable and in good condition.
•Implement all OMS/Documentum needed updates and be OMS/Documentum  representative.
•Make sure that defects at sites are communicated on time to related personnel and defects related with fleet are recorded and fixed on time. If A type defects, ensure operations STOP for related defect area.
•SPA for informing site defects to related people  and SPA for follow up and closure of fleet defects.
•Manage coordination with truck and tank producers follow up negotiations about new requests, make sure that procurement is completed under BP ethical policies.
•Ensure that all vehicle related lessons learned are applied to vehicles.
•To support/lead  assets related IT projects.
