• Significant planning and operational experience on Broadband Networks and services delivered in these networks consisting of multi-vendor environments
• Significant experience of IP Transit Networks in a multi tier and multi vendor environment.
• Advanced Inter & Intra AS Routing Knowledge: BGP, OSPF, ISIS
• Significant experience on Cisco’s ASR1K series routers in BRAS role.
• Significant experience on Cisco’s ASR9K series routers in transit internet router role.
• Significant experience on broadband service platforms like Radius, TR69 etc.
• Deep understanding of wholesale network interconnection mechanisms and broadband access network technologies (PPPoE, L2TP, G.Fast, GPON, NGPON2, Active Ethernet)
• Deep understanding of wholesale access methods (Bitstream, VULA, SLU, LLU, Port + Transmission)
• Deep understanding of enterprise and residential CPE requirements.
• Basic SDH, WDM and Optical Networking Knowledge
• Understanding of 3G/LTE Mobile Networks

İŞ TANIMI

• Tracking new technologic steps, new products and research new trends to improve VFNET network for developing new data services including DSL, FTTH, L2 & L3 internet/VPN services.
• Planning DSL, FTTH, fixed/mobile internet and all related service platforms on top of this networks.
• Planning Telco Grade transit and upstream network by working closely with Tier-X providers
• Looking for co-investment & infrastructure sharing technologies with other operators’ network
• Planning of network interconnection & service infrastructure for reseling other operators’ FTTH and/or DOCSIS based broadband network
• Using FTTH/DSL network for carrying Smallcells, Femtocells, Mobile Backhaul Traffic.
• Providing Level 3 planning and designing support to ensure network availability and stability for all services those using IP Transit Network Broadband Network.
• Interact with Vodafone Global to  develop end to end solutions for VFNET key services.
• Capacity management of the Broadband Backbone and IP Transit Network on a daily basis to ensure that adequate capacity is available to meet with traffic demands.
• RIPE Management for Backbone IP blocks of VFNET Internet Access Infrastructure
• Interact  business teams regularly to exchange ideas on market drivers for ensuring Vodefone Net to pave the way  to meet future needs and  stay competitive.
• Deep knowledge about architectural structure of Cisco, Huawei and Juniper product families, routing and switching protocols.
• Future-proof design of network architecture considering IPv6 demand of the market
• Interact with peers at Vodafone Global to  develop end to end solutions for VFNET key services
• Building key service platforms like Radius, TR69, Data Analytics to meet future needs
• Preparing technical specifications, RFI/RFP documents for purchasing new products and creating HLD/LLD before deployment.
• Developing maintenance and operational procedures for analysing, auditing and fine tuning of network infrastructure to ensure operational excellence and develop proactive precautions
• Ensuring resiliency of all network services in case of any outage or service interruption due to operational or external reasons
• Ability to work effectively in a changing environment
• Ability to “helicopter”, to see the big picture as well as the important details
• Collaborates with 3rd party vendors for products and services provided, for production components as well as for pilots and prototypes
