Production Planning Specialist

•    University Degree from an Engineering Department (preferably Industrial Engineering)
•    Very good interpersonal and communication skills
•    Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
•    Good command in English both spoken and written
•    Very good leadership skills
•    Very good level of experience of SAP
•    Very good user in all MSOffice applications

İŞ TANIMI

Purpose of Role:

Schedules weekly blending and filling production orders based on the weekly plan received from Planning Department. Scheduler is also a key member of SAP Material Master Team and she/he has significant responsibilities in creation, change, de-activate material master for all SKUs.

Key Accountabilities Expexted from Role:

•Scheduling of blending and filling production orders based on the weekly plan developed by Planning Dept. into weekdays. 
•Production Planning Specialist is the main interface between planning and production functions and aligns proper information flow between the two functions.
•She/he does not only Schedule and pass it to production, but also follows the adherence to Schedule on daily/weekly basis as a plant KPI. She/he is supposed to work closely with Material Supply & Planning, Planning and Production teams to ensure the related KPIs are in line with Plant & Supply Chain targets.
•Actively participates on both internal & external audits.
•Complies with all BP HSSE rules & regulations and acts as a “Safety Leader”. Supports the idea of “Safety Leadership” as being a “lead by example” leader.
•Participates and actively takes lead based on Emergency Plans and her/his trainings on BP Gemlik Emergency Response Plans.
•Completes all the required actions for SAP Material Master, as being a key member of SAP Material Master Team.
•Prepares and generates Blending and/or Filling Orders for daily production.
•Follows-up completion/closure of orders to ensure inventory accuracy.
•Actively participates in Plant’s Continuous Improvement Projects, especially to those where he can have significant affect like improving Blending & Filling %OEEs, reduction in flush oils, re-alignment of storage to use existing storage capacity efficiently,…etc.
•She/He may become a Loading Master during bulk vessel offloading after completion of compulsory trainings. 
•Being an active member of Operations Team, Production Planning Specialist should be able to deputize Operations Team Leader and be able to Lead the team when and as necessary.
