The successful candidate should have;

• Engineering background,
• At least 3-5 years experience in HSSE related job or in a dangerous goods production/storage environment,
• Occupational Safety Expertise Certification (from Turkish Government). A or B Class would be an asset,
• Fluency in English,
• Certification for Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor or Environmental Expert (from Turkish Government) would be an asset,

İŞ TANIMI

This position provides functional HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) support to the Trading & Supply Organization on Cluster level  (Turkey) to implement and ensure compliance with Shell and legal HSSE requirements and drive continuous improvement in HSSE performance on the supply chain operations

HSSE results: Support the business to achieve the proactive and reactive HSSE targets (Potential Incidents / Near Misses, Total Recordable Case Frequency, Asset Integrity Process Safety Tier 1 / 2, LOPC’s, Spills …). Drive the HSSE culture:    Implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement in HSSE awareness and culture for leadership members, line managers and operators as part of the journey to achieve a Generative Safety Culture. Ensure HSSE Compliance: Deliver guidance on how to implement HSSE requirements (Shell HSSE Standards and HSSE legislation) within the T&S Operations. Check & advice Management Of Change requests on possible HSSE impacts. HSSE Reporting: Support incident notification, classification and registration Ensure appropriate Incident Investigation (e.g. Tripod). Assist with preparation and communication of the Learning from Incidents.     Active HSSE Management System in the business: Regularly assess and improve existing HSSE procedures to ensure “fit for purpose”. Keep up-to-date Emergency Response Plans (Cluster / Regional Level). Facilitate review or update of Risk Assessments. Ensure HSSE training when required (HSSE introduction/On-boarding; Permit To Work; Management Of Change …) Assist with Shell internal assurance audits and with legislation audits.   Annual HSSE MS Reviews on local, cluster or Regional level. Contactor Safety Management    Deliver the required HSSE support to ensure appropriate Contractor Safety Management (Greenbanding, Contract HSSE plan, Contract HSSE clauses, Contractor evaluations …). Transport Safety Management    Work in close cooperation with the Road Transport Managers, RT Compliance Coordinators and Road Safety Leads to ensure a safe Road Transport business.  Process Safety & Construction Safety      Provide Subject Matter Expert / Technical Authority support as requested / needed for Engineering projects.   Personal Safety  Provide SME support on several Personal Safety requirements especially related to the PTW process.
