Process Development Technologist (Temporary)

UNILEVER

• University degree (preferably in Mechanical/Chemical or Food Engineering)
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Fluent in English
• Experience of mechanical engineering principles or working with machinery is preferable
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Preferably no military obligation for male candidates

• Skills and competencies in identifying, creating and applying processes for assembly and shaping
• Cost effective processes enabling exciting new products
• Optimal equipment and process conditions for rapid factory exploitation
• Expertise on in-line product assembly and shaping for Unilever Ice Cream category
• Define all the steps necessary to produce a new product (innovation and renovation) starting from mix preparation through to final product ready for packaging
• Agree process information for contract and launch proposal with respect to project timing and ensure the product/process/Supply Chain interface is clear
• Agree process flow, safety data and costs
• Define, implement, optimize prototype and design with third parties with respect to project timing
• Define a process, which minimizes capital request whilst optimizing Transfer Price
• Manage trials in Regional Deploy Centre Pilot Plant and industrial trials in feasibility. Support project team for trials in capability and during commissioning
