Financial Reporting and Controlling Specialist

We are looking for a Financial Reporting & Controlling Specialist for our multinational client active in the steel industry in Turkey.

General Qualifications of the candidate:

• Minimum 3 years of experience (Min. 2 years of experience in one of the Big Four Audit Companies + 1 year in a multinational company).
• ACCOUNTING knowledge in accordance to Turkish Local GAAP& New Turkish Commercial Code and REPORTING knowledge in accordance to IFRS standards are essential.
• Perfect command of English (All the internal communication and reporting within the company will be in English)
• Good level experience in Information Systems; SAP knowledge is an asset
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, sp. Excel (macros and functions)
• Excellent Analytical Skills, Detail Orientation, Multi tasking and Time Management abilities are required.

İŞ TANIMI

• Reporting all financial statements and complete packages in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with IFRS and the Companies Accounting & Reporting Standards
• Preparing the Budget/Forecast reporting together with the supportive documents
• Explaining all plus/minus deviations by comparing the Actual figures with the Budget/Forecast and Actual historical data considering both MTD, YTD and FY figures
• Preparing profitability analysis reports per business unit, per customer and per product by creating the bridges with its main drivers in Gross Margin and Variable Margin fluctuations
• Preparing fixed cost analysis reports explaining the impacts of Opex on P&L with its main drivers
• Controlling the balances and line items posted in Local Turkish GAAP under Tax Procedure Law (Vergi Usül Kanunu) considering the Uniform Chart of Accounts (Tek Düzen Hesap Planı)
• Following-up the sales projects by preparing the PoC calculations including the proper validation of provided project’s budgeted income and costs
• Reporting the KPIs of the company regularly
• Performing all Inter Company reconciliations explaining the origin of transactions
• Preparing management reports and presentations for the local and group Management
• Communicating closely with the Group’s Accounting and Controlling teams based in Europe regularly
• Preparing additional reports such as inventory results, unitary price, bad debt provisions, net debt position, cash flow of the company
• Giving support to internal audits and external audits
