QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
YILDIRIM Group of Companies based in Istanbul Turkey is one of Turkey’s fastest growing companies. Eti Krom, the group’s mining subsidiary is involved in chrome mining operations in Turkey and own ferrochrome production facilities in Sweden and Turkey. Recently, Eti Krom acquired Mechel’s chromite mines in Kazakhstan and its ferrochrome operations in Russia.

To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering is essential,
· Minimum 7 years of operational experience with ideally underground mining,
· Willing and able to work in remote locations,
· Cross discipline and cross cultural communication experience is an asset,
· Be familiar with both open-pit and underground mining operations,
· Familiar knowledge of drill and blast design preferably in underground operation
· Effective organization and time management skills
· Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
· Work closely with engineering and geology teams in operations to improve mining operations
· Coordinate and supervise Contractors and Consultants as required, including geotechnical, blasting, software, budget / audit experts
· Identifying areas for improvement,
· Produce weekly, monthly and annual progress reports,
