GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

Minimum qualifications

BS degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with C/C++, Java, and scripting on embedded platforms
One or more wireless technologies; Zigbee, Bluetooth, NFC
Experience with smart life solutions (smart home,smart city, IoT)
Experience with a prototype platform such Raspberry Pi, Arduino, BeagleBone
Experience in the following areas: device driver development, and board bring-up.
Development experience within embedded systems/firmware design, implementation and deployment.
Experience in design, development, and debugging of hardware for embedded systems
Experience in operating system drivers, socket programming and Linux.
2 years of embedded development experience.

Preferred qualifications

MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript.
Experience developing operating system drivers or other low-level “glue code” that interacts with hardware.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and embedded Linux.
Knowledge of one or more of the following: embedded systems development/ firmware, operating systems, device drivers, or hardware/software integration.
Experience building and shipping consumer electronics products.

İŞ TANIMI

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Embedded with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting Smart Life Solutions Manager of Oksijen.

As an Embedded Software Engineer at Vodafone, you will have the opportunity to pioneer, develop and build out our footprint in consumer hardware/software. You will design and develop smart life devices and gateways, engineer and build products that contribute to the Smart Life ecosystem. You will build and launch smart products in line with Vodafone's ambitious and visionary objectives. Areas of development may include device drivers, embedded firmware, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Design software systems that interface with humans, machines and other software.
Review code written by your peers and push the envelope in software engineering excellence.
Work closely with OEM and vendors in integrating your software on hardware devices.
Take ownership of one or more key software subsystems. Define their capabilities and work with the team to get them implemented and tested.
Assist with the overall design, development, fault analysis, test and integration of a customer-facing hardware product.
Define architecture, specification, design and test boards for innovative devices.
