LOCAL BUSINESS UNIT CONTROLLER-LOW VOLTAGE SYSTEMS

We seek for 'LBU Controller' who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB in Low Voltage Products Division, Low Voltage Systems in Tuzla location with below qualifications,
 

• University degree (Preferably in Finance or Economics degree, MSc degree in Business Administrarion is a plus),
• Minimum 4-5 years experience in Finance / Controlling departments, (In factory, production environment. Preferable in electric sector),
• Very good command of written and spoken English,
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications & ERP and web based tools,
• Knowledge on financial accounting and reporting (USGAP)
• Competencies on problem solving, thinking systematically & analytical,
• Detail oriented, team player with the ability to effectively adhere to strict deadlines,
• Good communication and negotiation skills,
• Completed military service for male applicants.

İŞ TANIMI

 
 

• Serves as the key partner for the Local BU Manager in determining Local BU strategy, aligning with Global BU strategy, implementing, and making adjustments in implementation as needed. Maintains constant contact with Local BU Manager regarding financial, market and customer situation and outlook.
• Oversees the business planning process in the Local BU and serves as the interface to HQ, Country CFO, Global BU and the Local BU Manager. Evaluates financial implications of various business decisions and recommends actions.
• Contributes to definition of key performance indicators, identifies issues, and advises management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve. Drives for appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency.
• Ensures transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defines and implements internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. Ensures compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines. Supports internal and external audits.
• Ensures financial reporting management in accordance with defined quality standards and required ABACUS closing schedules. Oversees all local BU financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensures continuous improvement in the financial control process in alignment with global standards and local policies.
• Manages and closely monitors the Local BU’s cashflow and takes action to improve Net Working Capital management.
• Assesses business risk exposure and defines risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on Local BU business performance. Executes global risk review procedures and processes to minimize financial risk and exposure.
• Reviews orders and contract specifics to verify accuracy versus proposal and/or standards. Advises on financial and commercial aspects of proposals, contractual terms. and conditions, risk reviews, contract structuring, tax issues, cashflow analysis, assignment conditions, and other relevant issues. Reviews and approves full cost model and price lists.
• Ensures timely and efficient communication with Country Controlling, Division Controlling, Accounting Center, and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency of the Local BU.
