• BS in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a similar discipline. Advanced technical degree (Science or Engineering). PhD is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in industrial Research and Development or Manufacturing in snacking categories (chocolate, biscuits, candy, savory snacks etc.). 
• Excellent command in spoken and written English
• Strong practical knowledge in food science and technology, nutrition, food manufacturing processes is required.
• Experience in product development cycle from ideation to launch.
• Ability to search and grasp scientific and technical literature and ability to turn them into actionable insights.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deliver results on time and at quality
• Creative technical development and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated successes in project and people management, ability to influence across functions and levels
• Demonstrated ability to navigate in a highly ambiguous environment
• Possesses high ethical standards and curiosity
• Comfortable in living in a culturally diverse international environment and no limitation to travel domestic and international

İŞ TANIMI

• Lead research, screening, assessment, and implementation stages for commercialization of promising proven science and new technologies for our existing businesses in food and beverage categories and for new business endeavors.
• Manage proactive communication with external partners (suppliers, research organizations, and universities) and internal teams (R&D, marketing, engineering, manufacturing etc.) in the relevant business units spanning different categories and geographies to ideate, assess, and execute projects.
• Continuously scan the horizon for new developments in the relevant areas such as new raw materials, new technologies and consumer trends in confectionary, food, and beverage fields.
• Create and maintain internal and external network with scientific and technical communities.
• Take the lead in technical translation of consumer insights into new product or category concepts.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to move projects (growth, productivity, new technology) forward and to a completion.
