- University degree from a relevant discipline, preferably from engineering
- Knowledge on Storage and SAN concepts, technology and applications
- Experience with compliance standards such as Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO 27001, PCI
- Familiarity with 24X7 operations methodologies and IT management best practices (e.g ITIL)
- Fluency in English
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Good communication, documentation and reporting skills
- Should be a good team player and should be able perform well under stress
- Male candidates must have completed their military services
İŞ TANIMI
We are seeking a Storage Services Specialist with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting Storage & Backup Managerof Vodafone Turkey.
- Responsible for installing, configuring, implementing and troubleshooting any issues for the Storage&SAN infrastructure
- Design, manage and support a mixed environment of Storage&SAN systems(EMC, HDS, HP, NetApp, Cisco, Brocade)
- Perform troubleshooting, incident and error handling for systems
- Assist in the identification, development and maintenance of policies and procedures that are relevant to the proper operational functions of the Storage&SAN infrastructure
- Quality assurance of new and existing Storage&SAN systems
- Lifecycle management of all Storage and SAN infrastructure
- Running analytical troubleshooting techniques on the systems/modules that malfunctioned
- Defining and implementing continuity solutions for each platform (e.g. Storage & SAN based availability and disaster recovery solutions )
- Maintain operational readiness ensuring complete recovery in the event of a disaster. Attend DR tests regularly, as outlined in the company policies and procedures to ensure DR functionality. Update the policies and procedures as required.
- Operational support of all IT Storage & SAN infrastructure on 7*24 basis to provide continuous IT services availability and issue resolution.
- Periodic monitoring and performance tuning of the systems
