QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

- Bachelors Degree or 4 years equivalent professional experience
- Strong SQL Query skills
- Good Working knowledge on Unix, Shell Scripting is plus
- Understanding of DWH concepts
- Analytical Skills & Good Communications
- Familiarity with ODI, BO, MSTR tools would be an advantage
- Comfort working with business analysts, development team
- Ability to meet challenging deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Align with agile methods
- 2+ years experience in a 24x7 mission critical environment management & support
- 2+ years of Business intelligence industry experience
- Experience in Oracle database, PL/SQL coding & performance tuning
- Experience in Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica ETL tools and their administration
- Experience in data implementation and management of data quality components
- Following skills and experiences are preferred
- Telco knowledge
- Experience of industry standard DW data model knowledge
- Having knowledge with Siebel CRM
İŞ TANIMI
- Analyse and prepare data quality control jobs for both DW and source systems
- Follow up the DW environment daily ETL window and trace the performance issues and take necessary actions
- Analyse design and accomplish operational work requests
- Handover and give acceptance to deployment activities and schedule DW jobs on UC4 scheduler tool
- Ability to process Ad-hoc report requests
- Responsible for ensuring incident and problem fixes of the DW by Incident handling and provides on call support when necessary
- Provides support to end users in using data warehousing tools, formulating queries, and understanding the data contained in the data warehouse.
- Close daily Maximo alarms within SLA
- Manage and maintain DW daily night operations for a week in the defined circular period
- Ensure that VF HSE&W procedures are implemented and works carried out in compliance with local HSE regulations.
- Ensure that work associated risks are assessed and reduced so far as is reasonably practicable
- Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library,
- Report all suspected security and/or policy breaches, potential security risks to VF TR Corporate Security,
- Protect VF TR’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference,
- Protect user accounts and associated passwords , and accept accountability for any actions performed via usage of those accounts.
- Ensure that VFTR BCM policy /standard ,procedures ,plans implemented and works carried out in compliance with BS 25999 -2:2007 Standard
- Ensure that BCM risks are assessed and mitigated so far as is reasonably practicable in VFTR Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
- Ensure VTR BCMS by planning, establishing, embedding, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving within VFTR
