QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
IT Application Security - Senior Specialist

Now, the world's leading bank is seeking to hire a IT Application Security Senior Specialist
to be based in Istanbul. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have the qualification below:
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience focused on application security
- Strong background on Security Application design
- Ample understanding of network based technologies (HTML5, Scripting Technologies, Web services, SOA, SAAS, IAS, mobile technologies etc.)
- Strong, broad knowledge of Information Security Risk and related security controls and practices
- Security related certification such as CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001LA etc. is preferred
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills are required
- Excellent project management and reporting skills are required
- Excellent command of technical spoken English as well as written is required

- Provide development teams with risk assessment, threat modeling and vulnerability remediation
- Serve as an internal information security consultant to the organization
- Direct responsibility in Information Security Risk Department for defining and/or enhancing security controls and practices related to key components of the Application Security and Infrastructure Security
- Document technical issues identified during security assessments
- Assist with building, hardening and maintaining systems
- Research cutting edge security topics and new attack vectors
- Develop and maintain a large network of senior contacts from IT, business and functional areas across Turkey and worldwide HSBC offices
- Monitor compliance with information security policies and procedures, referring problems to the appropriate department managers
- Implement information security policies and procedures for the organization
- Advise the organization with most recent and best practices on information security technologies and related regulatory issues
