QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Engineering degree preferably in telecommunication, electronics and  computer engineering
  • Minimum 5 years Telecommunication experience
  • Minimum  3 years level2 or level3 Network Operation Experience is required
  • Good understanding of SNMP protocol and implementations. Knowing network management tools like CA Spectrum, HP Open, Cisco Works, Cacti/Mrtg  etc.
  • Good understanding of the transmission Technologies
  • Good understanding of IP/MPLS Technology
  • Good understanding of Voice (NGN or Circuit Switced) Technology
  • People Management experience will be preferred
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent Problem solving and Troubleshooting skills
  • Technical qualification in a network related subject and relevant accreditations from network supplier
  • Good management and organization skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with a level-headed approach and make extensive use of available resources
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal support staff and external customers and partners
  • Desire to learn and adapt to new technology
  • Certification or accreditation in CCNA, CCNP, CVoice will be preferred


 

İŞ TANIMI


We are seeking a Network Infra.&Wholesale Cust.Supp.Executive with the will and ambition to work in Network Infra.&Wholesale, Cust.Support Management Function, reporting to Technical Operations & Support Senior Manager of VodafoneNet/Vodafone Turkey.  
  • Accountable for managing Data & Voice network infrastructure level1 monitoring operations and Level1 support operations of the Wholesale Telco Carriers. 
  • Accountable for managing  7x24 NIMWS team
  • Recruit and develop an effective team. Provide clear definition of roles, responsibilities, individual goals and performance objectives. Provide coaching and guidance to the team.
  • Periodic review of team activities. Considering trainings needs of employees.
  • Preparing NOC shift.  Planning and allocating resources.
  • Building team spirit  and maintaining its continuity
  • Accountable for monitoring of IP/MPLS, Broadband, Carrier Ethernet, Fiber Transmission and Voice Backbone and intervening the issues within agreed KPI’s.
  • Accountable for managing “incident info management” process within the company.
  • Being first escalation point for interconnection problems with the national and international operators.
  • Accountable for providing customer satisfaction for whole national and international operator issues and concluding the issues.
  • Co-ordinate with technical teams to solve complex tickets/incidents.
  • Escalating complex and problematic issues to upper management and L3 department.
  • As to be customer centric, organize meetings with the other departments of the company; inform the related units with customer opinions and take feedbacks of internal customers for his/her department.
  • Accountable for organizing meetings with the other operators when necessary and to provide development of the trouble solution processes.
  • Accountable for providing permanent resolution within agreed KPI’s for international customers’ wan link outages occurred on international links.
  • To explore new network measurement & management tools 
  • With following the sector evolution on Turkey and the world, to suggest development of the processes or new monitoring methods and implementations
