Tea Processing Manager

Unilever

• University Degree; preferably in Plant Science, Agronomy, Food  Technology related fields
• Master’s degree on Food  Technology / Chemical Processing related fields will be an asset
• Minimum 3 years of solid food process development experience in FMCG companies (dry processing is preferred)
• Solid and proven track record on Process and Project Management
• Excellent command of written/spoken English

İŞ TANIMI

• Develops and drives Technology Roadmap for the region in co-operation with GDC, Supply Chain and BD partners
• Co-develops continuous improvement plan regarding Tea Manufacturing in Turkey with respect to quality and cost
• Develops and maintains processing capabilities and ways of working in line with Category strategy and R&D ways of working
• Ensures process development deliverables are in place for key Innovation, Value and Quality Improvement projects
• Ensures timely, safe and reliable execution of trials (integrity of experimental design and reporting)
• Contributes process technology inputs to Supply Chain Excellence and Capacity Development plans,
• Acts as point of reference for Technology and related IPR for the region and in relation to that is a point of contact for Processing for the region to the Global Processing Director
• Creates and contributes new ideas and opportunities for Beverage Innovation and Value Improvement based on process technology advances
• Delivers standard practices to ensure quality of reporting in data management systems
• Is up-to-date with developments in the relevant area of expertise
• Assesses and implements opportunities to use External Partnerships and Collaboration in their work
• Contributes to establishing the new RDC as an inspiring place to work, contributing to site culture and group / team building events
• Ensures compliance of their work to the Unilever Code of Business Principles and all SHE and QA policies, including the support of product claims, risk management and environmental awareness & legislation
