QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Autoliv Cankor is a wholly owned subsidiary of Autoliv, the world leader in the production of automotive safety systems. We produce and market airbags, seatbelts and steering wheels with 2500 highly competitive employees. 8-10 year of pratical experience in statutory accounting
Holding SMMM (Local CPA) or other credible professional certificates is a plus
Accounting experience in a manufacturing and preferably multinational company
Parallel ledger booking for local and international accounting purposes in one ERP system
ERP (preferably SAP) implementation experience
Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) reporting system
Fluency in English
Hands-on; able to see the big picture as well as the details
Adaptable personality capable of understanding and appreciating the culture and complexity of the Autoliv business.
Have an urge for challenge; enjoy the difficulties posed by operating in manufacturing business

İŞ TANIMI

Reports to: Country Finance Manager
Direct reports: 9 People in Local Accounting Team
Other key relationships: Senior Management Team of Autoliv Europe and external Service Providers
Ensure that all financial management/accounting processes are done strictly according to the Turkish and US GAAP, accounting and tax requirements
Supervision and control of the general accounting functions including general ledger, payables, payroll, property and statistical accumulation.
Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and closing statements for internal and external reporting purposes.
Develop the accounting organization and improve the processes in order to be ready for SAP implementation
Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
Manage and coordinate with third party service providers (Accounting, Tax, Legal).
Accountable for accurate and on time controls of inventory and manufacturing cost accounting.
