QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

YILPORT Holding is a privately held, wholly owned subsidiary of YILDIRIM Group, one of the fastest growing Turkish industrial groups with its ports located in Turkey as well as in the world. The company has ambitions to become one of the top 10 global container terminal operators and it has  recently become the largest terminal operator in Turkey in terms of number of ports operated and overall capacity.

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer with Port experience using or supporting a Terminal Operating System or other large scale logistics systems.  
  • Preferably graduated from Computer/Mathematics/Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  • The Product support supervisors in this competency are responsible in assisting TOS Experts with the Installation, Maintenance and Administration of Navis Applications. 
  • 3- 5 years experience and in-depth knowledge in installment, maintenance and administration of complex multi-tier applications
  • Experience in using and administrating one or more of the following technologies:
Application Server implementation, Database administration and Patching, Good Knowledge in software solutions such as Windows Server Clustering & Hyper-V, VMware, Active Directory, Microsoft System Center, MsSQL Database and further Microsoft Solutions, virtualization products and platforms
  • Database/Application Performance Tuning is a plus
  • Ability to provide software support and conduct incident reports utilizing Root Cause Analysis
  • Having Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certificate is a plus
  • Due to overseas assignments of the position, written and oral fluency in English is a must
  • No military obligation for male candidates
