The Sales Manager, will be responsible to drive the sales for Substation Automation (products and system) and Communications networks.The role requires close cooperation with the local sales organization, as well as the global ABB units supplying systems and products to the same market. The role requires direct end customer contacts, and EPC´s & ECPs working in the area. Incumbent sets strategy for a complex market, oversees sales planning and ensures alignment of sales strategies with corporate growth objectives.
*Knowledge or Experience on T&D(transmission & distribution), Power Generation or Energy segments with end customers,Main contractors or OEM industry.
*University degree in engineering or related technical field (Power systems)
*Proactive and enthusiastic person with exceptional communications skills.
*Minimum 5 years of experience in sales at management level
*Ability to discuss technical solutions, with confidence, in depth with the customer.
*Proficiency in Turkish and English language
*Strong planning skills that exhibit in-depth understanding of the company’s technical and commercial strengths and relationships with markets.
*Adept negotiation and leadership skills to successfully meet customer requirements and close sales
*Aptitude to proactively identify opportunities and maintain customer relations.
The candidate will be responsible for;
*Sales of products and systems within the two Substation Automation groups and the Communication network group
*Drive growth areas (geographical/segment/channels), growth strategies, & market approach
*Forecast, track, report and manage country-specific objectives to ensure results are achieved
*Make country-specific plans on how to increase business opportunities.
*Coordinate activities with the local ABB organizations.
*Advise customers, including senior management, on ABB’s capabilities, technology, and applications for products and systems.
*Work with customers and ABB experts to resolve complex technical and business issues.
*Establish, build and maintain long-term customer relationships to increase market penetration and decrease company risks.
*Take an active role in business development for his/her territory.
*Engage in and leverage relationships, both internally and externally, to promote mutually beneficial partnerships
*The candidate will become part of a larger team covering the Mediterranean region, which it itself part of a global sales organization dedicated to ABB's substation automation and communication business.
