Environment, Health and Safety Engineer

• University graduate, preferably from Environmental Engineering or other engineering departments,
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English,
• At least 5 years’ experience as an EH&S Engineer,
• Good knowledge on health and safety and environmental legislations and requirements,
• Resident in İzmir,
• Exempt from military for male candidates,
• Excellent OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health  and Safety Management skills.
• Excellent ISO 14001 Environmental Management skills.
• B Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from Ministry of Labor and Social Security,
• Experience and very good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Knowledge of environmental and health & safety law and legal processes
• Understand and be sensitive to the natural environment and health & safety concerns and the priorities to be addressed
• Expert on permitting processes of a company or business.

İŞ TANIMI

• Implement Environment, Health & Safety procedures, programs and systems at our plant,
• Conduct & manage Health & Safety training for all site personnel,
• Attend Legal Site Safety Committee,
• Conduct & manage self-assessments to ensure compliance with all local regulations and company standards,
• Assist operations personnel in developing a knowledge base for site compliance,
• Coordinate with all levels of the facility to determine EH&S solutions for business issues on a day-to-day basis,
• Work in collaboration with both Corporate EH&S Engineer, and attend all conference EH&S calls and Coordinator Meetings,
• Maintain computerized EH&S metrics,
• Be a leader in driving EH&S Culture at the site,
• Perform risk assessments about current and potential circumstances,
• To establish, implement, and maintain OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health  and Safety Management System within in the organisation and prepare the company to get required certificate,
• To establish, implement, and maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System within in the organisation and prepare the company to get required certificate,
• Company avoids exposure to adverse publicity resulting from poor EHS performance,
• Minimisation of financial losses arising from EHS risks,
• To support company for any kind of Permitting Processes,
• To make any kind of legal and regulatory reporting requirements within the organisation.
